The Location - Blue Waters is centrally located 300 metres back from the beautiful Shoal Bay Beach and to an array of bars, cafes and restaurants which hug the coastline. With crystal clear waters and white sands it is undoubtedly one of the prettiest coastal towns Australia has to offer on the east coast and the perfect holiday destination. You can hire kayaks, stand up paddle boards (open everyday during the high seasons of school holidays, long weekends and Easter). and bicycles. A short stroll to the eastern end of the bay is the magnificent Tomaree National Park with spectacular views from the top of Tomaree Mountain. Facing the Tomaree National Park and headland, you will love the sounds of native birds and hearing the waves crashing gently against the shoreline. Just a 5 minute drive in the opposite direction brings you to Nelson Bay. Fingal Bay Surf Lifesaving Club is a short drive away (approx. 2.3km) where you will find a surf patrolled swimming area and Learn to Surf Lessons during the warmer months.

The Unit - This cosy and comfortable unit has an open plan living area with a TV and glass sliding doors out to a spacious private balcony with stunning views over the bay. It features an equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge/freezer and bar stools and a dining table adjacent to the kitchen.

The main bedroom has a queen bed with built in robe, access to the balcony, small TV and a pedestal fan. The second bedroom has a tri bunk with small drawers provided and the bathroom offers a mini bath tub/shower, vanity and toilet. The unit also has an internal laundry with washer and dryer and undercover parking There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.

  Fantastic views and location that distracted from the substandard and outdated furniture and lack of air-conditioning. Fridge tv couches toilet door need updating. No dishwasher. Good cleanliness and smooth checkin process.

  Everything was great about the stay. Booking was easy and the Winning personnel were really helpful and professional. It was easy to book and a few emails back and forth sorted everything out. Trying to contact by phone was really wierd though, with calls going via an offshore call centre which was not very helpful at all. I just wanted to clarify a couple of points, but this was impossible and I was kept on hold while the call centre tried to locate someone to talk directly with. Not a good system.
  We have been coming to Shoal Bay for 20 years, and this was probably our 8th stay in 8 Blue Waters. It's always been easy to book and arrange. Having booked and paid I did not expect the barrage of automated mails for online check in, etc. I am not one of the snowflakes who need constant contact and support.
  8 Blue Waters is a true gem, best uninterrupted views of the bay from the balcony and comfortable for us. It wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, but we find it perfectly appointed for our needs. Sat out on the balcony and ate our evening meals and played scrabble, etc. Will go again later in the year.

  Great rental. Greta view over Shoal Bay and lots of space with a big lounge room. Things a little dated but for the price fantastic! Dont forget to bring all linen like a bath mat and hand towel.
