The Location - Unit 11 Bay Village is centrally located in Shoal Bay which means our guests are ideally placed for the towns vibrant and lively atmosphere. The unit is positioned just metres back from the beautiful Shoal Bay Beach and literally just above an array of convenient shops, cafes and restaurants to choose from. With clear turquoise waters and white sands it is in a desired waterfront area and is the perfect holiday getaway.  Right on your door step you are spoilt with the energetic atmosphere of Shoal Bay, a pristine beach offering great swimming and a chance to unwind and for the more adventurous, there are kayaks, stand up paddle boards (open everyday during the high seasons of school holidays, long weekends and Easter) and bicycles for hire.  There are secluded walking tracks through Tomaree National Park and spectacular views from the Summit of Tomaree Mountain, plus a selection of other surf beaches. Just a 5 minute drive (3 km) in the opposite direction brings you to Nelson Bay. 

The Unit - The combined living area of this neat and tidy unit is air conditioned and tiled throughout. The area has a lounge suite which converts to an inner spring sofa bed (linen not supplied for sofa), and a second lounge, flat screen TV with access onto the covered balcony with outdoor setting and great Shoal Bay water views.  The kitchen is fully equipped and has a full size fridge, microwave oven, under bench oven with glass cook-top and dishwasher.

A ceiling fan is in the main bedroom with king bed, wardrobe and a digital flat screen TV. The second bedroom has a set of bunk beds and one single bed and free standing wardrobe. The bathroom has a modern glass shower recess, toilet and vanity. The  property offers free wi-fi. 

The shared coin operated laundry on this floor has a washing machine and dryer as well as clothes lines being available outside. Ironing facilities in unit. There are definitely smoke detectors at this property.

    The images advertising the unit on the website are deceiving and not at all a representation of the current state of the unit. I had to purchase my own cleaning products to clean the unit upon arrival to make it habitable. Much of the decor and fixtures require replacement as they are falling apart, including the blinds in the main bedroom, which did not close, restricting privacy and letting in a lot of light at night. I would not reccommend staying here and have found Winning Holidays difficult to get in contact with. Almost a week later they have still not responded to our phone calls or email regarding our concerns.

    Booking and check in was extremely easy. The unit location was perfect.

    Everything we needed and convenience. Could do with spending a small amount of money for new crockery etc. Matching sets is a small touch that doesn’t cost much.
    The blinds in the bedrooms cut out little to no light and with the arcade lights, the main bedroom in particular was very light. Black pit blinds would make such a difference.
