Location- Summerside house is situated at quiet Fingal Bay just 200m from beach. The beach is surf patrolled, great for swimming for all ages. A lovely walk to the end of the beach brings you to the Fingal Spit that can be crossed at low tide with caution. There is great beach and rock fishing, walking and bike tracks through National Park, look out and picnic area'sat Barry's Park just 1.3km's away, restaurants, general store, take away and service station. Shoal Bay is just a short 2.5km drive or bike ride (along a lovely bike path) and Nelson Bay is 5.5km away.

The House -This spacious older style home at Fingal Bay is perfect for the large family holiday getaway. The upper level offers an air conditioned lounge area complete with polished floorboards, ceiling fan, 50 Inch 3D Flat Screen TV and DVD player, with the dining area featuring a glass top table and 8 wooden chairs. This area leads to both the well equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher Nespresso coffee machine (BYO pods) and out through to an undercover balcony with a dining setting. Also on this level are three carpeted bedrooms with ceiling fans and a modern bathroom with a bath and shower. The toilet is separate.

On the lower level there are another two carpeted bedrooms with ceiling fans, a games room with table tennis and living area with a 50 Inch 3D Flat Screen TV and DVD player. Glass sliding doors lead out to an undercover area with a gas BBQ for outdoor entertainment in an enclosed backyard.The modern downstairs bathroom has a shower and toilet. The laundry has an attractive wooden bench top and is complete with a front loading washing machine and dryer.

Please note: driveway is very steep and narrow.

There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.

  was good, house was tidy and fairly clean. Needed more toilet paper though, had to purchase our own upon arrival. Couldn't find any other toilet paper in the house.

  The stay was great, large house for a big family (10 adults, 1 child) celebrating my mothers 60th. Great entertaining room and aircon upstairs. Ping pong table was a hit. However the house itself was a little rundown, and dusty. It looked like it hadn’t had a good clean in a while as it was quite dusty and dirty. The driveway we couldn’t even use as it’s super narrow and restricting you have to be very careful. If the house had a good clean I’d give it a 10/10 but I’d have to rate it a 6.5/10. everything else about the place was just perfect.
