The Location - This Unit is located across the road from the beautiful Shoal Bay Beach, with crystal clear waters and white sands it is the most idyllic holiday destination for anyone looking for beauty, serenity or adventure. Shoal Bay would undoubtedly be one of the prettiest coastal towns in Australia and has so much to offer. The beach offers great swimming and you can hire kayaks and stand up paddle boards (open everyday during the high seasons of school holidays, long weekends and Easter).Just a 700 metre walk brings you to the lively area of Shoal Bay, where you will find a delicious array of places to eat and drink plus a selection of shops. Continuing on to the eastern end of the bay is the magnificent Tomaree National Park with spectacular views from the top of Tomaree Mountain. There are also plenty of walking and bike tracks on offer and just a 5 minute drive brings you to Nelson Bay.

The Unit- This tastefully decorated second floor unit has a warm beach vibe to it. With open plan living this property features a lounge area with a flat screen TV and ceiling fan opening out to a lovely balcony with a small table and two chairs. This overlooks lush gardens continuing on to crystal bay waters. The modern kitchen comes fully equipped with oven, glass stove top, dishwasher, microwave and full sized fridge/freezer and boasting a beautiful leafy outlook from the kitchen window. This property also includes WiFi.

The generously proportioned main bedroom provides a queen sized bed, a ceiling fan and also has lovely water views. The second bedroom provides a bunk bed and a single bed with a table top fan. The spotless modern bathroom features floor to ceiling white tiles and provides a shower in the bath tastefully screened with a glass panel.The unit also comes with a shared communal laundry and one undercover parking space. There are 28 stairs to the unit.

There are definitely smoke detectors at this property.

  Unit was clean and modern, view was lovely and would definitely stay again. My only disappointment was having to go buy dish washing liquid and dish cloths, for the price of the rental this sort of thing should have been included

  The apartment was filthy. Not sure if cleaners had really cleaned after the last renters. The fridge was dirty and all of the dishes, plates, pots & cutlery has been put away dirty after use. For example was some sort of melted cheese on the plates. Yuck! The floors appeared un-vacuumed & there were dead bugs in the bathroom. Needless to say we were very unimpressed with the state of the apartment, it was disgusting. We had to wash all of the dishes before use, but as we didn’t use them all there are probably still dirty dishes in the cupboards. The location of the apartment is great, right across from the beach. But I would never stay here again due to how dirty it was. It was also not cheap, and you would at least expect a clean apartment upon arrival! We were hoping for an early check-in & followed up multiple times but were told we had to wait closer to the time. On the day of check in we called up to ask again and the lady who assisted sounded very inconvenienced to have to check. They were unable to accomodate an early check-in even though the cleaners wouldn’t have been in the apartment for long (if they actually had cleaners). There was no shampoo, conditioner or bath soap provided. The only soap providdd were two tiny 3cm blocks.
