The Location - This quaint studio bedsitter is located within walking distance (450m away) to village shops, bottle shop, bakery and newsagent and much more. There is a lovely alternative walking route to these shops around the Wanda Wanda Headland, taking in the unspoilt beauty of the Bay, which is less than 1km away. The major shopping Centre in Salamander Bay is only 4km away. The Nelson Bay CBD and Marina are approximately 10 minutes away (6.5kms) and offer boutique shopping, award winning restaurants, specialty stores, cinema, fishing co-op and Bowling/Golf Club. Heading towards Soldiers Point you will find other award winning restaurants including the Rick Stein restaurant, Soldiers Point Marina and a two lane all craft boat ramp.

The Studio - This quaint studio bedsitter has been converted from the main house's boat shed. It is a self standing private accommodation with access from Wanda Avenue and only metres to the beach. It offers a cosy open plan living, bedroom (queen size bed) and kitchen area with stylish furnishings and fitted with floor boards, down lights, air conditioning and flat screen TV. The modern kitchenette features a full size fridge/freezer, induction microwave, coffee machine, and hot plate. The bathroom offers a glass walk in shower, vanity and toilet. There is a private grassed area at the front of the studio with outdoor furnishings, surrounded by native trees with parking for one vehicle provided at the rear of the studio down the driveway. There is no laundry facilities at the property but Port Stephens Dry Cleaners offers a drop off service at either Taylors beach or Salamander Shopping Centre. There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.

  Very clean, with high quality fixtures, was in an ok location but of a walk to local shops. Although we paid $800 for 2 nights (it was in school holidays) but didn’t feel like it was worth that type of money.

Due to the Foreshore Studio being so close to the beach as well as being one of our premium properties that is constantly sought out for, this is the reason for the price range.   The Foreshore Boatshed was a great little tiny home, just the right size for me and my husband. Close to local shops and the bay. Check-in and check-out was smooth and easy to pick up and drop off the house key.
  
  The tv remote didn’t work which was a shame since we were hoping to access Netflix which we couldn’t do so without the remote. This wasn’t a huge deal breaker, but we appreciate the team for being responsive to this.
  
  Would recommend for single travelers or couples looking for a short and pleasant stay in Salamander Bay.
