The Location - The Coffs Harbour region has an amazing coastline of beautiful beaches with soft sandy shores, rugged headlands where you can walk past wild kangaroos, observe sea eagles and watch whales and dolphins frolic in the sea. The Great Dividing Range provides a dramatic backdrop and encompasses the town. Surrounding hillsides are covered in blueberry, avocado and banana plantations. The temperate climate and latitude mean we can swim in the ocean here all year round. Activities and attractions include World Heritage listed Dorrigo National Park, whale watching, scuba diving, surfing schools, deep sea fishing, hiking, nature walks, kayaking, golf, scenic coastal walks, scenic drives, hinterland villages, art galleries, botanic gardens, nature tours, dining out, weekly markets and music and cultural festivals throughout the year.

At Coffs Creek a short drive you can also hire canoes and Stand Up Paddle Boards (SUPS) at this location to paddle down Coffs Creek. You can visit the beautifully refurbished Jetty Theatre where you can watch lives plays and musicals. Visit the culturally diverse Jetty Strip where there is a multitude of restaurants and the historic Pier Hotel for a cold drink. The beautiful Jetty Beach and pier walkway out to the ocean walk up Mutton Bird island then visit the Fishing Co-op where you can buy fresh seafood to eat in or take home.

From the Villa a worthwhile drive is to Bellingen a thriving transition town on the north coast of New South Wales. Bellingen town is renowned for quirky cafes, organic food outlets and it's weekly organic food markets and monthly community market. There are vintage ware emporiums, fashion outlets, some great op shops, a lovely craft supply shop, art shows, festivals, and much much more.

Every third Saturday of the month is the community market. This market has been going for over 30 years and is well worth a visit. There are many many stalls including lots of good food to eat. There is usually live music at this event.

On the second and fourth Saturday of each month is the Organic Food Market. This market sells mostly locally grown and manufactured organic foods. You can have a coffee and cake and listen to some great music as well.

Drive out of town to the Promised Land and the pristine swimming holes of the Never Never.

Drive another 20km west brings you to the Dorrigo National Park, a spectacular rainforest which has world heritage listing.

Located near the Opal Cove Resort (this property is not associated or affiliated with Opal Cove Resort and operates as a separate accommodation supplier) and only 3km from Park Beach Plaza - the local shopping centre.

The Villa - Relax in the luxury of this Superbly Appointed 3 Bedroom 4 Star Villa located within a Resort without Resort prices! Features of the Villa include; Master bedroom with Sealy top of the range King Bed with luxury full Bathroom including Spa Bath, 2nd bedroom with 2 King singles, 3rd bedroom with 2 bunk beds (ie sleeps 4 children with a max weight on each bed 55kg) two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher and microwave), a laundry with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities, Wi-Fi, Smart TV with Netflix (lounge area), Play Station, air conditioning, BBQ and outdoor setting overlooking the first fairway and a single lock up garage.

A maximum of 4 adults and 4 children are allowed with a minimum stay of 2 nights (3 nights over Christmas Holiday Period and Long Weekends).

  The space in the villa was fantastic. The cleaning was not brilliant in the bathrooms. The shower head in master bathroom was completely broken off & was sitting on the shower neck so the shower was not useable. It was reported but apparently was not urgent enough to get fixed during our stay. The bins were full so we had nowhere to put our rubbish & we had to call manager to get in emptied. Although advertised as part of Opal Cove Resort, we were not allowed to use the pool. This was not made clear in the description.

We unfortunately couldn't get a plumber on the Saturday, but we fixed the issue as soon as we could. We also outline in the description that...
