The House - The lovely four bedroom, three bedroom house not only overlooks Diggers Beach, but also has a Wi-Fi connection to make all your online friends jealous when posting about your short stroll to the beach or to The Big Banana.

Siesta by the Sea is split over three levels, the middle level perfect for entertaining with a spacious kitchen/dining area with adjoining lounge area, perfect for relaxing and reading one of the many books that are there. On the main level, there is a BBQ out on the verandah, so you can turn your steak and have a beer while the view helps you wash all those stresses of everyday life away. It's the perfect place to sit, relax and take in that ocean breeze.

The top level contains three bedrooms, master with queen bed and ensuite, the second bedroom with queen and a single, and the third bedroom with a single bed and pullout trundle. Also on this level are the laundry and main bathroom.

Downstairs is a wonderful retreat space with queen bed and separate bathroom. This bedroom also has a lovely deck out front where you can just sit, relax and watch the whales go by.

This house is perfect for couples, families or even for two families sharing the cost for up to 8 people. Just a short drive or walk to the beach, Siesta by the Sea could be your perfect next holiday destination.

All linens and towels provided. There are smoke alarms at this property.

  Location and view was good. Property was old with little maintenance. Cursory cleaning only had been performed. Furniture was damaged, fly wire screens torn, screens damaged. On day 1 of stay a power circuit failed. Property manager could not be contacted for over a day, problem caused by dish washer which remained broken for remainder of visit, no follow up be property manager.

  We had a wonderful long weekend at Siesta by the Sea. It is a beautifully located, spacious house with great views. The house is comfortable and functional.

  Siesta by the Sea has great views to the ocean. It is an older house with a renovated garage providing the fourth bedroom. This home would not be practical for anyone with mobility issues. Lots of stairs both inside and out. Bedrooms are a good size and plenty of bathrooms was a plus although the upstairs en-suite is only a bath with no shower facility. The beds were comfortable. The downstairs bedroom (converted garage) is very spacious but lacks good ventilation. You either sleep with the fans on or the sliding door open with no lock on the screen door ! There was a good array of cookware and appliances but no microwave cookware. A few dead cockroaches some lights that didn't work and a dining chair with a broken leg were the only negatives from our stay. The property was generally clean and was decorated with interesting decor items with a South American flavour.
  The property has just changed management and the new company were very hard to contact. The phone was never answered and we had to rely on email contact. The house is only five minutes drive to Coffs Harbour Plaza with lots of shops and supermarkets open late for when you arrive and need to go out and buy food at 7pm. An interesting place to stay but be prepared for a steep driveway and some challenging parking at the top of the drive.
